What is Microsoft Power Automate?

Automated workflows are called flows. To create a flow, the user specifies what action should take place when a specific event occurs.
Setting up the scenario
In this how-to article, we will confirm a purchase order in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) and send line details to a channel in Microsoft Teams using Power Automate.
Step 1: Choose a trigger.
Select the details as shown in below screenshot.
Step 2: Parse the JSON output.
Select the ‘Body’ from Step 1.
Step 3: Select the header entity for the triggered record.
Filter the record of the entity using shown value below.
Step 4: Initialize ‘email body’ variable.
Step 5: Use ‘Apply for each’ header record.
This is the final block which takes ‘value’ of the step 3 as input.
Step 6: Get all line records related to the triggered Purchase Order.
Step 7: Select the required fields.
Select the output from previous step.
Step 9: Select compose.
Step 10: Set ‘Email body’ variable.
Step 11: Post the message in the Microsoft Teams group.
Testing
- Confirm a purchase order from D365 F&O.
- Receive the record in Microsoft Teams.
