Devon has 20 different legal entities that property managers move between. This complicated its financial reporting process, which led to payroll delays. To mitigate the challenges from its complex labour costing, Devon chose to implement Dayforce, Ceridian’s flagship cloud HCM solution. Devon’s small payroll team had limited resources to dedicate to the project. OnActuate became an extension of their team as the trusted implementation partner.
Devon’s successful implementation of Dayforce means a reduction in workload and cumbersome manual processes. The company will benefit from better labour costing and reporting under one payroll system, without having to run multiple payrolls and create multiple pay records. Dayforce also offers employee self-service options, such as accessing timesheets via an app and managing their own payroll exceptions. Now Devon’s lean payroll department can maximize its time and resources. OnActuate managed the successful implementation on schedule.
