A global manufacturer streamlines operations across four countries using a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation template.
Vancouver, Canada – Hammond Power Solutions (HPS), one of the largest manufacturers of dry-type transformers in North America, has successfully completed a global rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (D365 F&Sc) across the United States, Canada, Mexico and India in partnership with OnActuate, a global technology and consulting firm. This rollout, which utilized an innovative template designed by OnActuate, has streamlined Hammond Power Solutions’ manufacturing operations, positioning the company for further growth.

Paving the way for manufacturing excellence
This isn’t the first time HPS and OnActuate have worked together. In 2019, the organizations partnered to unify HPS’s global financial systems under one ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX. The success of that project naturally evolved into a global rollout of D365 F&Sc.
In just 18 months, the global Dynamics 365 template allowed HPS to streamline operations at eight worldwide locations. With 700 users benefiting from the business value of being online and on an evergreen platform, HPS can now increase productivity and operational efficiency through features such as cash and bank management, inventory management, and production control. HPS will also be able to establish new environments and onboard new companies more quickly.
